Outsourcing work in China raises many practical questions about manufacturing in China. Questions about cooperating with J&Y, product quality, warrantee, legal issues, IPR, how to purchase, how sales works. If you question is not listed you can always call or e-mail. Q: I received products, but some items are damaged, how to handle this? 

A: Sent us pictures and a quality report. You will receive replacement products or a refund. 

Q: Prices of J&Y fluctuate. How can I check that J&Y is not changing the margin on a product?

A: We supply material prices on our website. It is easy to compare pricing use the raw material price overview. When you have doubts, please contact us and we explain the price change in detail.

Q: What is the commission requested by JY Trading? 

A: If JY Trading is working on it's own account, our purchase prices are not visible to you. You agree a purchase price with us, not with each indivudual supplier. This gives us the opportunity to supply a complete package. If we are used as an agent only for an indiviual supplier, we request between 5% and 10% depending on the product and the service requested from us. Other agents might work for 3%, however, they will most certainly get paid by the supplier. We don't. 

Q: I am sourcing/manufacturing products in China already, but need an agent to handle quality insepctions and export. Can you provide these services

A: Yes, please take a look at our pricelist for quality inspections. 

Q: I want to place all my purchase activities in 1 company. How do we start? 

A: Easy, sent us samples and/or drawings and a quantity indication. We will supply a quotation. When you agree with the price, we will supply a sample for you to evaluate. Doing many product simutaneously is possible

Q: Can I visit the supplier which make the products I buy? 

A: Yes, we will arrange your stay in China. We encourage you to reguraly visit China and insepct the factory which we use to supply to you. Your recommendations will improve our service level.

Q: I have drawings and parts, but am not sure if the drawings are correct. Can you assist? 

A: Yes, we always check if drawings and parts are the same. If not, we will contact you and discuss which is leading, parts or drawing. Our engineers are capable correcting drawings; in fact, we often adjust drawings to make them easier to understand for a Chinese engineer. Details in drawings setup by a western company can easily be overlooks by a manufacturer if not properly emphasized by our engineers.

Q: Can i place a large order for 1 year, and JY Trading keeps stock? I want to pay which each delivery.

A: Yes, we have our own warehouse. The demand for these services is rising, which forced us to allow this service only to customers to which we have established business cooperation. J&Y is 100% using only its own capital and since this is an important company strategy of our owners, we can supply this service not to every customer. We more-or-less offer this service to customer which have ordered over 1 million rmb in value in the last 12 months.

Q: I looked for J&Y using search engines. There are more J&Y companies in China. How can this happen?

A: When registering a company, the Chinese government checks if the name is already being used. We are the first J&Y registered in China, but unfortunately some other J&Y's have also registered afterwards, some with business activities we definately do not want to be familiar with. Any other companies, it's not us. Warrantee claims from any other J&Y companies will not be accepted by us naturally. Pay good attention who is your busienss partner in China!
